Tony Nethercutt, ChairTony grew up in Watsonville, CA. He is the proud product of an impassioned grade school teaching mother and a strong middle school administrator father. He learned early that certain segments of school going children had both challenges and opportunities that needed to be addressed. Tony brings the same energy and passion he had during the 30+ years of his television and digital advertising career to NGS and the many philanthropic relationships he has today. He has lived in San Rafael for the past 27 years with his wife Laura. Their son Zander graduated from Kenyon College in May of 2016, and is now selling advertising for Yelp in Chicago.

Clint WilkinsClint has a long and distinguished career in both independent and charter schools and as a social entrepreneur. He served as a principal and assistant headmaster at Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC. In 1998, he founded the Sage Hill School, the first nondenominational, independent high school in Orange County. Clint has also served as the principal of a charter school in Oakland, a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University School of Education, and an Associate with the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford. He received his secondary school teaching credentials at Princeton University. He is married to Carla Woscoboinik Wilkins, a Chilean, and has three grown children.

Zuleika GodinezZuly is a Program Officer at S.H. Cowell Foundation. Previously, she was the Policy Manager for Ensuring Opportunity Campaign to End Poverty in Contra Costa, a policy and advocacy initiative housed at the Richmond Community Foundation. In this role, Zuleika worked with local elected officials, government agencies and non-profits, as well as faith leaders, businesses, labor and philanthropy, in a collective effort to ensure all county residents have what they need to thrive.
She has also served as Youth Program Associate at the James Irvine Foundation, working to increase the number of low-income youth in California who earn a postsecondary credential; as a Policy Fellow at the Center for Community Change in Washington, D.C.; and as a Program Coordinator at Next Generation Scholars. Anuar Ramirez-MedinaAnuar grew up in Marin County and currently lives in San Francisco. After his undergraduate studies, he spent most of his time traveling to the countries he studied in college and working in public service before attending law school.
He is currently practicing immigration and business law in the Bay Area. He believes his legal work is important to create a more diverse and vibrant country. He also believes diversity breeds innovation, market growth, and an overall more beautiful world. But he also believes that at the crux of real progress is education and that’s where Anuar fits in at NGS. Anuar feels lucky to have received the invaluable gift of a quality education and wants to give back in any way he can. When he’s not practicing law he’s building something out of wood or planning his next mountaineering trip to the Eastern Sierras.
